Pebble Number Eleven: What will your water do?

January 11, 2014

Rain pelts the weathered wood on my back deck. Long narrow puddles form along the planks, inviting raindrops to dance. They plunk like twinkling stars into the waiting water, creating concentric circles that bleed into the stillness. Sometimes the waves crash into each other, canceling out the momentum. At other times the rings join forces, creating new larger ripples that swim across the surface. Such is life. Sometimes we dance. Sometimes we crash. Sometimes we band together, creating something completely new.

What drops are you creating today?

Where will they fall?

What will they do?
